Lecture Session
There will be a Lecture Session this coming Friday 6 July 2007.

In addition, there will be a session on Astrophotography talk session organised by Ngee Ann Polytechnic's Astronomy Club on Saturday 7 July 2007. Details to be released... The Nanyang Polytechnic Astronomy Club (NASTRO) is an astronomy interest group that promotes interest among students on astronomy by organising activities and events that are related to astronomy. Our activities keep our members and students informed about the latest happenings and discoveries on astronomy around the world.
Astronomy is gradually becoming a popular field of study in Singapore. The National University of Singapore has started a course on Astronomical Studies and building an observatory for their own which amounts to tens of millions of dollars. Even students of Primary and Secondary schools are involved actively in the many Astronomical Events held in Singapore each year.
