I'm here to inform you that we'll be having a 3-day-2-night orientation camp real soon!
Date: 21/05/10 - 23/05/10 Day: Friday to Sunday Time: 6pm to 7am
You would need to pay a total sum of $15 for the club shirt but meals will be provided!
Indemnity forms will be ready for collection outside the clubroom (P701 - Blk P level 7, room 701) on Tuesday, 27/04/10.
Please attach the money ($15) together with the form and slip them under the clubroom by Friday, 07/04/10.
You will not be allowed to attend the camp unless you've filled up the form! Before that, kindly RSVP to nyp_astronomy@hotmail.com with your FULL NAME, ADMIN NUMBER, CONTACT and SCHOOL [eg. SEG(m), SHS etc.] to confirm your attendance so that we can order your meals and shirts.

Hi members,
The schedules for the club crawl have been emailed to you. Our booth number is 18 (refer to the attachments in the email if you dont know where it is).
All members are to report to the sports hall straight away at 10.30AM for attandance taking.
A reminder for committee members: On the 20th April, the sportshall will be open from 10AM-6PM. Please be there to decorate our booth. Also, get the flyers ready please. (you guys may like to tell me what time you guys will be there and i'll try to drop by during that time)
Also, on the 21st, someone must rmb to bring a notebook with stellarium installed. Members who are interested to help up with the booth, feel free to join (:

The Nanyang Polytechnic Astronomy Club (NASTRO) is an astronomy interest group that promotes interest among students on astronomy by organising activities and events that are related to astronomy. Our activities keep our members and students informed about the latest happenings and discoveries on astronomy around the world.
Astronomy is gradually becoming a popular field of study in Singapore. The National University of Singapore has started a course on Astronomical Studies and building an observatory for their own which amounts to tens of millions of dollars. Even students of Primary and Secondary schools are involved actively in the many Astronomical Events held in Singapore each year.
