HELLO!

I really wanna thank the people, who've sent in their details on time for the YOG - Cheering the flames event. We've managed to get enough people to fill up the list. We have exactly 20 people on the list. As such, please please please attend the practices that has been assigned in the email.

It will be held every Tues & Fri starting from 6th July for flashmobbers,

TIME: 6-9pm
VENUE: Sports hall (Blk E lvl 2 - Student card required for entrance)

As for motivators, 6 & 9th July is compulsory for you to attend. If you have further queries, please contact the person in-charged or ask them directly on the 6th July.

I understand that the flashmobs practice clashes with the bi-weekly stat-gazing sessions. As such, those who are involved in the YOG will be excused from Astronomy until 7 Aug, provided you attend the dance practices.

For people who are still interested to join, kindly fill this up http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?formkey=dG85Q2ZUaHFKdHp6elMyTUVRNl9vWWc6MQ and indicate your CCA as ASTRONOMY. After which, send me these details in the format of the excel file, which i've attached in the email titled "Participant details*urgent*" few days ago.

I appreciate your help & most importantly, your ATTENDANCE! Other than that... ENJOY MOBBING & MOTIVATING! Dont worry, CCA points will be awarded! (:

Thank youuuuuuuuuuu!

about nastro

The Nanyang Polytechnic Astronomy Club (NASTRO) is an astronomy interest group that promotes interest among students on astronomy by organising activities and events that are related to astronomy. Our activities keep our members and students informed about the latest happenings and discoveries on astronomy around the world.
Astronomy is gradually becoming a popular field of study in Singapore. The National University of Singapore has started a course on Astronomical Studies and building an observatory for their own which amounts to tens of millions of dollars. Even students of Primary and Secondary schools are involved actively in the many Astronomical Events held in Singapore each year.
