Eta Carinae Nebula
-Ernie
Yo guys, being the no-lifer, i was in my room, browsing through wikipedia in search of some helpful hints to pass my exams, den i saw this picture that made me wet my pants scream in delight.

My father came in and asked what happen, then i showed him. He too, wet his pants screamed in delight.

My mother den came in with a mop and told us to shut up.

ANYWAY,
This picture is the culprit

This picture low quality, the highest quality one is 7.32MB

ok, for those who come to astro meetings JUST FOR THE FOOD, no need to read anymore

For the truly interested, this picture shows a nebula, they are clouds of hydrogen gas, helium and other whatnot gases. I cant rem wad colour is wad gas, contact edwin, he knows alot more.

2 words : CHIO RITE!

Sometimes i wonder, earth is one planet, there are many planets around 1 star, there are millions of stars in 1 galaxy, there are few thousand galaxies in 1 cluster, there are few hundred clusters in one neighbourhood, there are countless neighbourhoods in the universe, why are humans alone?

about nastro

The Nanyang Polytechnic Astronomy Club (NASTRO) is an astronomy interest group that promotes interest among students on astronomy by organising activities and events that are related to astronomy. Our activities keep our members and students informed about the latest happenings and discoveries on astronomy around the world.
Astronomy is gradually becoming a popular field of study in Singapore. The National University of Singapore has started a course on Astronomical Studies and building an observatory for their own which amounts to tens of millions of dollars. Even students of Primary and Secondary schools are involved actively in the many Astronomical Events held in Singapore each year.
