Just before the club crawl, we've got a massive star-gazing event organised by Hwa Chong Astronomy Club!
DATE: 3rd to 4th April 2010 TIME: 7PM to 7AM VENUE: High school field Activities:Stargazing, talk on Singapore Skies and Deep Sky Objects, Astronomy Poster Exhibition, Astronomy Fun and Games.
PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE AND REPLY TO CONFIRM YOUR ATTENDANCE.I NEED TO ORDER YOUR DINNER!

HELLO!!
I'm here to inform you that astronomy will be holding the 17th annual IPS-NYP Astronomy Retreat!
We're going BATAM - INDONESIA!! ^^ It is a 4-day-3-night event and it will be held from (wed, 16/06/10) to (sat, 19/06/10).
For Twin sharing - S$365/person For Triple sharing - S$335/person For Quad sharing - S$315/person For Five sharing - S$295/person

Exams are over! Hope you guys did great!(:
Right..... anyways, please make yourself available on the 11th and 12th of march as we'll be holding an astronomy competition event for various secondary schools.
Attendance is strictly compulsory. CCA points will be awarded as well.
11th Mar - Rehearsal for the event 12th Mar - Actual event day (need to dress formally as there will be important guest coming)
Please reply if you're NOT able to make it and provide me with the reason. Else, i expect to see everyone there.

The Nanyang Polytechnic Astronomy Club (NASTRO) is an astronomy interest group that promotes interest among students on astronomy by organising activities and events that are related to astronomy. Our activities keep our members and students informed about the latest happenings and discoveries on astronomy around the world.
Astronomy is gradually becoming a popular field of study in Singapore. The National University of Singapore has started a course on Astronomical Studies and building an observatory for their own which amounts to tens of millions of dollars. Even students of Primary and Secondary schools are involved actively in the many Astronomical Events held in Singapore each year.
